COS Ski Fest 2026: Colorado Springs’ Ski & Snowboard Swap Is Back
Winter is almost here, Colorado Springs.
Rocky Mountain Ski + Sport is kicking off the 2026–2027 ski and snowboard season with COS Ski Fest 2026, happening across two weekends on October 31, November 1, November 7, and November 8.
Part ski and snowboard swap, part massive gear sale, and part community winter festival, COS Ski Fest is built around one simple idea:
Getting outside in Colorado shouldn’t cost a fortune.
Whether you're outfitting your entire family, looking for your first pair of skis, searching for an inexpensive snowboard setup, or clearing old gear out of the garage, we want to make getting ready for winter easier and more affordable.
SOME OF OUR LOWEST PRICES OF THE YEAR
Skiing and snowboarding can get expensive quickly, especially when you're buying equipment for kids who seem to outgrow everything overnight.
That's exactly why affordability is such a huge part of COS Ski Fest.
Throughout both weekends, we'll have thousands of pieces of ski and snowboard equipment available, including new, used, demo, and consignment gear.
And when we say affordable, we mean it.

There will be equipment at a wide range of price points, sizes, ages, and performance levels, so whether you're looking for an inexpensive beginner setup or hunting for your next upgrade, there will be plenty to dig through.
And yes, we're bringing the gear out for both Ski Fest weekends.
COLORADO SPRINGS SKI + SNOWBOARD SWAP
COS Ski Fest also gives our community a chance to sell equipment they no longer use.
If you've upgraded your setup, your kids have outgrown their equipment, or you've simply got skis or snowboards collecting dust in the garage, you can consign eligible gear through Rocky Mountain Ski + Sport.
Consignment Drop-Off: October 21–28
All consignment equipment must be dropped off between October 21 and October 28, 2026.
We will not accept additional consignment equipment after October 28.
Approved consignment gear will be available to shoppers throughout both COS Ski Fest weekends.
Rocky Mountain Ski + Sport retains a 35% commission on sold consignment equipment, meaning consignors receive 65% of the final sale price.
It's an opportunity to make some money from equipment you aren't using anymore while helping another skier or snowboarder find affordable gear.
WHAT CAN YOU CONSIGN?
We will consider skis, snowboards, ski boots, snowboard boots, bindings, poles, and other eligible winter-sports hardgoods that are in safe, sellable condition.
All equipment is subject to approval by the Rocky Mountain Ski + Sport team.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we will not accept used clothing or items that have been worn directly against the skin.
That includes used base layers, socks, gloves, hats, helmets, goggles, and similar personal items.
If you're planning to consign equipment, please bring it in during the October 21–28 drop-off window so our team has time to prepare everything before Ski Fest begins.
MORE THAN A SKI SWAP
We love a good gear deal, but COS Ski Fest isn't supposed to feel like you're just walking through a giant sale.
We're turning the Rocky Mountain Ski + Sport parking lot into a celebration of the start of winter.
We're inviting Colorado Springs small businesses, makers, food vendors, outdoor businesses, and community organizations to join us throughout the event.
We'll also have giveaways, activities, food, and plenty of opportunities to meet other people in the Colorado Springs ski and snowboard community.
More participating vendors, activities, giveaways, and event details will be announced as Ski Fest gets closer.

You don't need to know what DIN means. You don't need to know what length ski you need. You don't need to understand rocker, camber, flex ratings, or binding compatibility.

COS Ski Fest is meant for the Colorado Springs community, including the smallest future skiers and snowboarders.
We'll have adult and kids equipment available throughout the event, and our team can help families figure out sizing, equipment, season rentals, and what their kids actually need for the upcoming season.
