Performance
The Rossignol Experience 78 RTL prioritizes control, predictability, and ease of use.
At 78mm underfoot, the ski feels relatively quick from edge to edge, helping developing skiers initiate turns without having to aggressively pressure the ski. The narrow all-mountain platform is particularly effective on groomed terrain, where it provides a comfortable balance between stability and maneuverability.
Tip rocker helps make entering each turn easier, while camber underfoot maintains edge contact as the ski moves through the turn. This combination makes the Experience 78 RTL well suited for skiers who are progressing from basic wedge turns into stronger parallel skiing and introductory carving.
Its rental-oriented construction also makes it a practical option for recreational skiers looking for a durable everyday setup rather than a highly specialized performance ski.
Who Is It For?
The 2021 Rossignol Experience 78 RTL is best suited for beginner to intermediate skiers who spend most of their time skiing groomed resort terrain.
It's particularly well suited for recreational skiers working on linked turns, parallel skiing, speed control, and basic carving technique.
For someone looking for an affordable used ski-and-binding package for everyday resort skiing, the Experience 78 RTL offers an approachable combination of forgiveness, durability, and all-mountain versatility.
Important Note:
These are used skis, and cosmetic condition will vary between individual pairs. Because RTL models are commonly used in rental fleets, some pairs may show more cosmetic wear than individually owned equipment. Expect normal signs of previous use including topsheet scratches, scuffs, chips, and base or edge wear. Each pair is inspected for safety and functionality before being offered for sale.
Our used skis are not freshly tuned or waxed unless specifically stated. A professional ski tune and wax are available as an add-on if you would like the skis serviced before use.
Bindings are included, but binding model and specifications may vary by individual pair. Bindings must be compatible with the skier's ski boots and professionally adjusted and tested for the skier before use.
Photos of the exact skis and bindings are available upon request.
