Key Features
- 98mm Waist: Provides a versatile platform for mixed resort conditions with enough width for softer snow without becoming overly cumbersome on groomers.
- Rocker/Camber/Rocker Profile: Rockered tips and tails improve maneuverability and soft-snow performance while camber underfoot provides edge grip and stability.
- KeyHole Technology: Peak's distinctive construction places metal strategically within the ski to influence flex and performance.
- All-Mountain Versatility: Designed for groomers, bumps, trees, chopped snow, steeps, and fresh snow.
- Strong Edge Control: Camber underfoot and a performance-oriented construction provide confidence when skiing firmer terrain.
- Stable at Speed: Built to provide a composed feel for stronger skiers making faster, more powerful turns.
- Maneuverable Shape: Rocker helps the ski release and pivot more easily when navigating tighter terrain.
- Bindings Included: Provides a convenient ski-and-binding package that can be professionally adjusted for the skier.
Performance
The 2023 Peak 98 is designed to provide all-mountain versatility without giving up strong on-piste performance.
At 98mm underfoot, it offers considerably more support in soft and variable snow than a narrower frontside ski while remaining manageable for everyday resort skiing. The width makes it particularly versatile when conditions change throughout the day.
Camber underfoot provides edge engagement and stability when skiing groomed or firmer terrain, while rocker in the tip and tail improves maneuverability through trees, bumps, chopped snow, and softer conditions.
Peak's KeyHole Technology contributes to the ski's combination of power and responsiveness, helping create a platform capable of being driven confidently by stronger skiers.
Who Is It For?
The 2023 Peak 98 is best suited for intermediate to advanced skiers who want a versatile all-mountain ski capable of handling a wide variety of terrain and snow conditions.
It's particularly well suited for skiers who divide their time between groomers, trees, bumps, steeps, variable snow, and fresh snow rather than specializing in one type of terrain.
At 98mm underfoot, it also makes a strong everyday option for skiers who want more soft-snow capability than an 80mm to 90mm all-mountain ski without moving to a dedicated powder ski.
Important Note:
These are used skis, and condition will vary between individual pairs. Expect normal signs of previous use including topsheet scratches, cosmetic chips, base scratches, edge wear, and other cosmetic imperfections.
Each pair is inspected for overall safety and functionality before being offered for sale. Our used skis are not automatically freshly tuned or waxed before purchase. A professional tune and wax can be added if you would like the skis prepared before hitting the mountain.
Bindings are included. Binding model and specifications may vary with the individual pair unless specifically shown or stated. Ski bindings must be professionally adjusted and tested for the skier's specific boots and skier information before use. Binding compatibility and serviceability should also be confirmed before skiing.
Photos of the exact skis, bases, edges, topsheets, and bindings are available upon request.
