The 2025 Fischer RC4 XTR 90 GW Ski Boots are versatile alpine boots designed for recreational and progressing skiers who want a comfortable fit with dependable support and control. With a 90 flex and GripWalk soles, the RC4 XTR 90 GW offers an approachable balance of comfort, responsiveness, and frontside performance for everyday resort skiing.

The XTR designation is commonly associated with Fischer's rental and resort-oriented equipment, making these boots a practical option for skiers looking for durable, predictable performance without the demanding feel of a stiffer race-oriented RC4 boot.

  • 4-Buckle Closure: Allows the skier to fine-tune fit and retention across the foot and lower leg.
  • RC4-Inspired Performance: Offers responsive power transfer and edge control in a more approachable package than Fischer's stiffer performance and race boots.
  • Progression-Friendly Flex: Provides support for developing stronger carving technique without requiring an aggressive skiing style.
  • Comfort-Oriented Fit: Designed to balance secure foot retention with the comfort needed for full days at the resort.
  • Frontside Performance: Particularly well suited for groomed terrain and skiers developing stronger parallel and carved turns.
  • Durable XTR Construction: Designed with the demands of frequent resort use in mind.

Performance

The Fischer RC4 XTR 90 GW emphasizes approachable performance, comfort, and dependable control.

Its 90 flex provides enough resistance to effectively transfer skier movements to the skis while remaining manageable for recreational skiers. This makes it a good middle ground for someone who has progressed beyond very soft beginner boots but doesn't need the stiffness of a high-performance 110, 120, or 130 flex model.

The RC4 influence gives the boot a frontside-oriented personality that works particularly well on groomed terrain. The four-buckle design provides a secure connection between the foot and shell, helping skiers develop stronger edge control and more confident carving technique.

GripWalk soles make walking around the lodge, parking lot, and base area more comfortable while providing additional traction compared with traditional alpine soles.

Who Is It For?

The 2025 Fischer RC4 XTR 90 GW is best suited for beginner to intermediate skiers looking for a comfortable and supportive everyday resort boot.

It's particularly well suited for recreational skiers who spend much of their time on groomed green, blue, and easier black terrain and want a boot that can continue supporting them as their technique improves.

For skiers looking for more support and responsiveness than a soft entry-level boot without moving into a demanding performance model, the RC4 XTR 90 GW is a strong option.

Important Note:

These are used ski boots, and cosmetic condition will vary between individual pairs. XTR models may have previously been used in rental or resort fleets, so some pairs can show more cosmetic wear than individually owned boots. Expect normal signs of previous use including shell scratches, scuffs, liner compression, buckle wear, and sole wear. Each pair is inspected for overall safety and functionality before being offered for sale.

Used liners may show signs of previous molding or compression and will not fit exactly like new liners. Proper ski boot sizing and fit are extremely important, and we recommend professional fitting before use.

These boots feature GripWalk soles and require bindings compatible with GripWalk boots. Bindings must be professionally adjusted and tested for the individual skier before use.

Photos of the exact boots, liners, buckles, and soles are available upon request.

Professional & Honest Staff

5‑Star Service from start to finish. I brought in 3 pairs of skis and a snowboard expecting a big tune‑up bill, but the team checked them all and told me one didn’t even need tuning or waxing. Saved me money right there. Met three different staff members and every one was friendly, helpful, and clearly knew their stuff. Honest, professional, and refreshingly straightforward. I’ll definitely be back.

Serious gear for serious adventures

I got a pair of skis from this place (discovered this place randomly when googling my desired model, they have the best price). Was a bit nervous at first cuz I live on the east coast and this is a local shop in Colorado. But it ended up being awesome!

Love that they adjust the bindings for you for free, and they carefully inspect the order items.

Affordable Kids Gear

We came in the other day to get my kids snowboards set up. I can't express enough how impressed I was with the customer service here.

On top of that, they charged significantly less then any other ski shop in the springs that I called before. Anything ski/snowboard related, this is the spot!
