Performance

The 2018 Never Summer Proto Mini delivers a playful but capable all-mountain freestyle ride for younger snowboarders.

Its hybrid rocker and camber construction provides maneuverability without giving up the edge engagement and response needed as riding skills improve. The rocker helps make the board easier to redirect, while the camber zones provide additional control when carving and loading the board for jumps or side hits.

The twin-oriented design also makes riding switch more natural, giving young riders a versatile platform for developing both all-mountain and freestyle skills.

Who Is It For?

The 2018 Never Summer Proto Mini is best suited for intermediate junior snowboarders who have developed basic turning and stopping skills and are ready for a more versatile board.

It's particularly well suited for young riders interested in groomers, park progression, switch riding, jumps, side hits, and exploring more of the mountain.

Proper snowboard length should be selected based on the child's height, weight, ability level, and riding style rather than choosing an excessively long board simply to allow room for growth.

Important Note: This is an older USED snowboard, and condition will vary by board. Expect signs of previous use including topsheet scratches, chips and scuffs, base scratches, edge wear, and binding marks around the inserts.

Every board is inspected for overall safety and function before being offered for sale. Used snowboards are not freshly tuned or waxed unless specifically stated. A professional tune and wax can be added separately if desired.
