- All-Mountain Versatility: Wide enough for powder days without becoming a dedicated deep-snow-only ski.
- Maneuverable Design: Rockered tips and tails make it easier to release the edges and change direction through trees, bumps, and technical terrain.
- Twin-Tip Influence: The turned-up tail adds versatility for freestyle-inspired skiing, switch riding, and natural features.
- Z12 Bindings Included: Provides a complete ski-and-binding setup that can be professionally adjusted for compatible ski boots.
Performance
The Salomon Rocker2 100 is built around playfulness, soft-snow versatility, and maneuverability.
At 100mm underfoot, it provides substantially more flotation than a narrow frontside ski, making it a strong option for powder, softer snow, and chopped-up conditions. The rockered tip helps the ski plane through deeper snow, while the rockered tail makes it easier to pivot, smear, and release turns.
Camber underfoot maintains edge contact when returning to groomed or firmer terrain, giving the Rocker2 100 enough versatility to function as an everyday all-mountain ski for riders who prefer a wider platform.
Rather than feeling like a dedicated carving ski, the Rocker2 100 encourages a more playful approach to the mountain. It's at home searching for powder stashes, weaving through trees, hitting side features, and exploring terrain away from perfectly groomed runs.
Who Is It For?
The 2017 Salomon Rocker2 100 is best suited for intermediate to advanced skiers looking for a playful all-mountain freeride ski.
It's particularly well suited for skiers who enjoy powder, trees, bowls, bumps, side hits, softer snow, and variable terrain but still want a ski they can use for regular resort days.
For someone looking for an affordable wider all-mountain setup or a dedicated soft-snow ski without stepping up to a much wider powder-specific model, the Rocker2 100 is a versatile choice.
Important Note:
These are used skis, and cosmetic condition will vary. Expect normal signs of previous use including topsheet scratches, scuffs, chips, base wear, previous base repairs, and edge wear. The skis are inspected for safety and functionality before being offered for sale.
Our used skis are not freshly tuned or waxed unless specifically stated. A professional ski tune and wax is available as an add-on if you would like the skis serviced before use.
Salomon Z12 bindings are included. Because both the skis and bindings are older equipment, binding compatibility and serviceability should be confirmed before use. Bindings must be compatible with the skier's boots and professionally adjusted and tested for the individual skier.
Photos of the exact skis, bases, and bindings are available upon request.
